Beneath the straight former expressway, the embankment of Daecheongho Lake unveils itself. With every step taken, the placidness of the lake leaves you feeling solemn. Ducks and egrets saunter and the willows planted in a line over time are packed and dense like thick hair.
You will not be able to take your eyes off the splendid flowers and trees along the street from the entrance of Geumseong Village. As you walk along this place known for the most grand and beautiful cherry blossom complex, you’ll see the Sinseonbawi where the Taoist hermit is said to have had fun and is truly magnificent and simple.
The hill that begins from Sangchon Village across the trail becomes a mountain and forms a forest that becomes one with the hiker. Just when the sun is about to set, the forest swallows the sunlight and transforms into a subsiding sound until Gobongsanseong Fortress appears along quiet footsteps.
